Bull Thistle

Stems: erect, many spreading branches, green to brownish, slightly hairy, wings irregular, spiny on upper portion

Leaves: alternate, blades simple, lobes frequently bifid, tips pointed, margins toothed and tipped with spines

Flowers: dark purple to rose or pinkish-purple disk florets

Origin: Eurasia
